ABOUT ME

I am curious researcher and a vivid traveller. During my career I have been fortunate to share lab benches with scientists in Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Belgium and currently Australia. Together with them, I investigated the origins of vanilla orchids, took fascinating microscopy images of pathogenic fungi, characterized how maize forms starch, and unravelled microbial interactions between algae and bacteria. Recently I moved to Australia with my partner to experience life on the other side of the planet and start my professional career.
